So boyish and easy, but the wicked cool leather makes it...well, wicked cool.
P.S. While Matt Damon is inarguably one of the most underrated leading men in hollywood, I'm not nuts about the film as anything more than a giant editorial on what to wear all the time. The Ripley books, by Patricia Highsmith, however, are a must read. They are gorgeously crafted and creepy as hell, a truly beautiful, wistful exploration of the dark places emotional deprivation can take someone who longs deeply for love and beauty. And dear old Patty had mad style!
uh, so would mine.. but i'm having serious issues in that dept. right now! i'll stare at this until i win! :)

ReplyDeleteRamblings of a Small Town Girl
I've never seen the movie, nor read the book. I do love Matt Damon, though. Does that count for something?
ReplyDeleteA well dressed man is a wonderful thing.
The Auspicious Life
Oh wow, I love these looks--especially that last jacket!
ReplyDeleteThe haircut did have me looking for a bow tie in every picture (by the way, if anyone knows where I can find a bow tie in real life, the self tie kind, for less than the average price at John Helmer, please let me know - Matt Smith has inspired me).
ReplyDeleteI could definitely go for duds like that except - are those red thing supposed to be spats or, I don't know, what are those?
And I could never reconcile myself to the double-ended pantlegs in the first picture.
How did you get a picture of my son? Ok, so not really him but that IS what he looks like minus a few years (he's 14 so hands off!).
